    Beautiful.
Keats would have written looking at your image (in words of M. Krishnan):

    'In some melodious plot
Of beechen green, and shadows numberless,
Singest of summer in full-throated ease.'

'..... nothing that I have ever heard has affected me so spontaneously and deeply as the Shama's song.' - Wrote Krishnan.

Loved the pose and the composition. The raised tail adds interest. Just a bit more space at the top (proportional framing) would enhance the composition further. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely. Slight head turn would have been even better. Love to hear your impressions about Seetanadi sanctuary. How is it these days?

I think Jim Corbett had also mentioned about some station master training Shama and selling them. Was it in My India? Need to check.

    Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

The bird is also giving pose for photography. His eyes are hunting for someone!
