    Default Tiger Cub

    This is from my archives.

Tiger cub from bandhavgarh. I can't forget this shoot when the tigress had left behind her two cubs. This sighting lasted for an hour and half. Those were the initial days of me shifting to digital. I had to open my laptop and download the cards in front of the tiger. Shot at 300mm, f5.6, 1/60. ISO 100.

Beautiful pose. I liked the way a ray of sunlight is falling on its eyes. Good details. Sharp even with the low shutter speed. Did you sight both the cubs? Thanks for sharing.

Quite a close up at 300mm, seems you were quite close to the cubs. Photography has evolved so much over the years, I remember I had a EOS30 film camera and we were in Kanha seeing a cub during the so called tiger show on top of an elephant. I was changing film while on the elephant in front of the cub, your laptop download remark reminded me of that. Thanks for sharing.
