    Elephants on the Ooty highway near the forests of Bandipur. The young and the females wait patiently for the juveniles to settle their differences and join them .Nikon D 750+70-200, 1/640s FL 100mm F/4.5 ISO250 ,June 2018 evening .

    Nice to see such a small baby secure in between two giants. Watching elephants can be lot of fun as these are intelligent and sentient beings. The overall greenery gives a nice feel to the image. Thanks for sharing.

    Different behavior can be observed in this group at the same time. The calf is protected between the two females and grazing peacefully, while the adolescent tuskers are behind them and jostling among themselves while they all might be waiting to cross the highway. Nice greenery in the background. Look forward to more from Bandipur. Thanks for sharing.

    Activities in multiples of 3, the three tuskers are busy in play while the ladies seem content with grazing and protecting the little one. Nice jungle story, thanks for sharing

    One often encounters elephants in this route.A very nice pic with lot of greenery.
