    This looks more like a pond. Without the tea bushes it would have been difficult to believe that this is the impact of flooding. Flooding brings lot of new nutrients and enriches the soil. Unfortunately these days the had of man has destroyed the floodplains of the rivers as well a dug up the sand from rivers. So the rivers and floodplains have lost their ability to absorb water during floods. Thanks for sharing.

    I think the floods have been more severe this year than in the past . Agree it does look like a pond. Was it windy? Were the people still working in the tea estates even with the flooding? The low angle gives a nice perspective. Thanks for sharing.
