    Default Nightjar

    From my archives. It was right in the middle of the road. Photographed it in the light from the headlights of the jeep.

    Canon 1D Mark IV, Canon 100-400mm lens, f10 (forgot to change), 1/25, ISO 1600, hand held, full frame

    One thing about Nightjar is that they remain still without moving till you move very close. The depth of field looks good. And since the bird is parallel to the focal plane, the depth of field covers the full bird. The eye looks nice here. Thanks for sharing.
