    Default Phidiana militaris

Phidiana militaris, a kind of nudibranch common in Indian waters and on seashores. It is often found near colonies of Zoanthus (a relative of corals), as seen here. This one was about 2cm long, but they can grow to at least 4cm.

So glad to see this. Such lovely colourful images can capture the imagination of kids about the wonders in our marine world. Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
