    Default Indian Golden Oriole

I used to see them frequently at sundown and sunrise during early part of the year. Not seen them since.

The bright yellow with the black stripes makes a striking combination. Makes it easy to spot . Nice perch and good eye contact. I liked the composition. Is this full frame? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul. The image is cropped heavy because the bird is rather small and was at quite a distance. The lens simply didn't have the reach (300 mm).

What are the exif details? Looks like the image is a big crop. Nevertheless, the colour of this bird is so striking that one falls in love with it in the blink of an eye. Where did you click? They normally perch on higher branches. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

The images are posted as is with the EXIF. No idea why this info is not retained by the site software.
Yes, it is cropped heavy. This was shot from the bedroom window of my flat where I live. I am 4 floors above ground and very much in level with top benches of the trees.
