    Default Nagarahole Tiger reserve

She approached our vehicle as we sat admiring her.

Amazing to have a tigress to follow the vehicle . Was the vehicle moving? There seems to be a slight shake. Posting the EXIF details will help to know whether increasing the shutter speed would have helped. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for critiquing. We saw the Tiger sitting on the road and halted our vehicle. After some time it started walking towards us. You are right on the shutter speed comment, should have used faster shutter speed given that the camera was hand held and the subject was moving.
Does the EXIF get stripped when I post the image?

I don't find any exif details. When the vehicle engine is on, it causes vibrations to be transmitted to the camera. Also, one should remember that the tiger is in the move. So it would need a higher shutter speed. The rule of thumb is that the shutter speed should be 1/focal length. These days people can crop the image. When you crop the imperfections in the image show up more. So the handholding technique as well as shutter speed and focus should be perfect while clicking.

    Cheers,
