    Default Himalayan flowers

This was in Utharkhand when we did a tour of Kedarnath and Badrinath in September this year. These are wild flowers growing by the roadside. Stepped out of the car and took some snaps. This is part of Grewal Himalayan range.

Another shot of the field of flowers. Not sure what these flowers are.

Lovely mix of colourful flowers. The pink flowers stand out against the green background. Did you get a chance to go to the valley of flowers? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. We were told it was not the best time to visit valley of flowers. The monsoon was just getting over and roads were not in good shape. Lots of mud and rock slides.

This composition also looks good. With less space at the top (as compared to the first image), there is more focus on the flowers. Thanks for sharing.

I liked the last one the best. A narrow aperture like f11 or f16 would have increased the depth of field. However, that would also have required you to push up the ISO a bit higher to get better shutter speeds for safe handholding. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
