Default The bright bloom of the night

    ID: Candle Cassia

One of the beautiful flower that I spot while on the way to work, this yellow blossoming plant is regarded as a medicinal plant and is surprising to spot them, mostly, next to garbage or disregarded areas. Senna alata, the scientific name of the shrub, is supposed to be invasive species in Asia and considered to be native to Mexico. But the bloom brings in a very needed vibrance to the surrounding, especially in the urban and developing scenario of the city. The frame showcasing the surreal view of the habitat that these have evolved into, right next to the swift moving traffic of GB Road.
