    Default Curious Katydid

Katydids are often well known for their ability to camouflage. They are also known as bush crickets, and, long-horned grasshoppers as well. This time this tiny, little curious insect drew my attention on a cloudy day as it was peeping from behind the leaf just by the footway through our garden. The white of the head perhaps revealed its existence there. Otherwise, their ability to camouflage with green leaves is quite impressive. And, in that case of their nymph, that is superb.
