Default Nilgiri Tahr......from my archives!(Film Camera)

Nilgiri Tahrs are gentle animals and one can witness them at close quarters at Eravikulam NP Munnar. This pic is from my archives. This was photographed using my good old film camera in 2005.I still remember it was one fantastic visit to the park as we could see Nilgiri Tahrs in plenty.

Nikon FM2,Nikkor 300mm (Other details unkonwn).

Nice sighting. Eravikulam is a beautiful place, when we went there last year, due to the rains and fog the sightings were less, but we could sight them on the top of the cliffs. Thanks for sharing.

Nice sighting. The eye contact is nice. Cropping slightly from the bottom would be better. Normally the frame edge should be on the joints else we psychologically feel that the body is incomplete.

I feel earlier with less crowd the sightings were better. Now they have created more tourism infrastructure and it looked more garden like with those wooden barricades. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. Young adult. Its romantic and emotional eyes with horizontal pupil are truly beautiful. The horns are wrinkled in a traverse fashion. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
