ID: Pumpkin beetle and snail inside a pumpkin flower

An interesting frame of these two specimen spending some time inside this massive pumpkin flower, though none of them seemed to be feeding on it, both seemed to be attempting to get out of the flower, but not sure as there was hardly much movement amongst the two. The globular stigma of the flower had a unique characteristic and, along with the texture of the flower, brought in a different form of drama to the whole frame

Beautiful patterns and details in the flower. I think beetle in the flower is fine, but a snail in a flower is quite interesting . Maybe it got dropped there? Nice observation. Thanks for sharing.

These tiny snails over a period of time can grow big. I find they are destroying the crops that I am growing on my rooftop. :-) This image shows how many different species depend on a single flower and plant. So when we allow nature to run wild even in a small patch of land, many species benefit. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
