    Default Peregrine Falcon at Hyderabad

    Nikon P900 , 1/500 , F6.3 , ISO 140. Cropped and basic pp in Lightroom.
Clicked at Osmansagar , Hyderabad on 1st February, 2020.
Me and my father were trying to get this bird for the last 5 years , roaming in Telangana and neighbouring states , but finally got it in the city outskirts. We had a splendid time sighting this bird for 3 months.

It is really great that you could sight this bird in the city's outskirts .Nice expression captured . He seems to be keeping his eye on you I like the curled claws of one feet .It indicates that it perceives no threat . A little more space all around would add to the composition. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful pose and eye contact of this majestic raptor (a favorite of Saktipadaji . Agree with Shyamalaji, sighting it in the city is really rare and lucky. It seems to be his favorite perch. I feel a vertical framing would also have worked well here. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to more from your birding trip.

Great to see this fine predator from the sky. I like the underbelly colour pattern of this species. I agree that a bit more space all around would be nice. That would give us the sense of the bird in its habitat. Also when you crop you lose details. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Thank you Shyamala ma'am, Mrudul ma'am, Saktipada sir and Sabyasachi sir for viewing and providing your valuable suggestions. I agree that I should have posted a more wide angle frame. It was a beautiful grassland last year as the lake had almost completely dried up in the winter. Raptors such as the Greater Spotted eagle, the Bonellis eagle, Harriers and the Peregrine falcon were spotted. I could capture the pictures of the Peregrine falcon , the Greater Spotted eagle and the Harriers.
