Default Golden Jackal @ Kanha Tiger reserve.

    Nikon P900 , 1/125 , F5.0 , ISO 250. Full frame. Basic pp in Lightroom.

Clicked on 14th October 2020 at Kanha National Park.

We sighted them in our first safari just after the park had opened, in the Kisli zone. There were 4-5 jackals at the place but this guy or lady chased away all the others.

Nice sighting. You appear to be shooting from a high angle. Coupled with the fallen log at the back one can ask if this was shot in a zoo. Several decades ago a DFO had asked me a similar question. I had bristled at that question however, I realised that there is a point in the question. A wider shot would be the answer for such questions. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Nice details .The sly, surreptitious look typical to these species has been well captured . A wider composition would give better idea of the environment .Thanks for sharing .

Lucky, you sighted it in the first safari itself . Loved the captivating stare. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
