Default Tiger in clump of bamboo

This is from my archives. I have lot of unedited images. Was looking at some of those and edited this one. Shot in Bandhavgarh National Park.

    ISO 800mm, 400mm, f6.3, 1/1000, handheld.

While we were waiting at a distance looking at tourists climbing on elephant back, there was an alarm call and we moved a few paces back and this fellow appeared. Several of my tiger sightings have happened in this manner when I had gone to investigate sound of birds or langur or deer.

Nice stare and body posture from the Tiger. The stripes on her forehead attracts our attention!Probably it was sitting and stood up when you came closer.I have never visited Bandhavgarh. It is high on my agenda to make a visit.

I remember this sighting, he came out from behind the bush in the open. Good details even in this dense vegetation, espectially the tip of the tongue. It is interesting to see the tail, which is raised horizontally while he came out of the bushes. Wish to go back there soon . Thanks for sharing.

Nice image of a personable young male He looks surprised and the stare he directs at the intruders is magnetic . More space at the bottom would have added to the composition .Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. He seems to be huge. The pink color of his tongue adds to the composition. Thanks for sharing
