Clicked from an elephant back in Bandhavgarh. it was late morning and the sun rays were piercing. Fortunately this tiger had taken shelter in a clump of bamboo and I could get it in shade.

In Bandhavgarh, as the heat rises the tigers retreat to the shade or to the water holes. He is keeping a look-out on the activity happening around. The problem is there are lot of gypsies . Dont know how is the situation currently. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
Nice details and and very natural colors .He seems to be a well fed plump sub adult .The exposed tongue could be part of the cooling out process .Thanks for sharing .
That is a wonderful capture.
