    Default The fascinating lifer

    ID: Gasteruptiidae(a type pf wasp)
While traversing the trail, after a whole long year, accidentally stumbled upon this beauty on the dried-up twig. What fascinated us was the unusual shape of the beauty, and even more intriguing was the presence of several more which almost blended into the dried plant. Spotted this particular one seated upside down, hence had to turn the DSLR upside down to get a clear and well-lit shot of the beauty. The white tip, on the edge of its tail, though out of focus, stood out and gave a unique feel to the slender body of the wasp. Hoping to know more details about this beauty, from the experts.
