The reflection of the sun in its eye looks nice. Some loss of details due to the crop. Overall a lovely sighting

Your compact camera has a massive zoom. People using DSLRs can't even imagine such focal lengths. However, details will never match that from cameras with larger sensors. However, you will get the best results when focus is right and the camera is stable. Using some support like placing on a car window or bean bag will help.
The sunset looks interesting. Thanks for sharing.
