It's a Chinkara, Shyamala ma'am. Great find in Tipeswar. Congratulations. Thanks for sharing.
Do let me know where did you stay. I have stopped going there due to accommodation issues etc.

Lovely alert pose captured. It blends in so nicely against the dry grass in the background. Seems it has only one short horn. Thanks for sharing.

Great to know it is Chinkara .It would be a first for me . We stay at Anant Heritage a couple of times .This is on the main highway to Nagpur about 6 km from the sanctuary.Once we stayed at Foxtail resort next to the sanctuary . This has tents which get very hot during day .

Nice image of the female Chinkara. Elegance is essence of its pose. One horn is shorter, it may occur. Thank for sharing. SaktiWild

Lovely image of a Chinkara. Changed the title. I am not sure why one horn appears like a stub. It can grow later. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

Apropos of my post on 12/7/21, I may add Chinkara is the only antelope in India whose female also possesses thin horns.

    Madum Mrudul,
I think, Antelope's horn being permanent in nature, it will not grow further once broken or if one is short and studlike.

Beautiful image and an alert pose captured. I try to look for the black, horse like tails of chinkaras as opposed to the brown tails of Black bucks. Thanks for sharing.
