    Tiger licking its paw. Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve.

    This was shot from the back of an elephant. Canon 1D Mark IV, ISO 800, f6.3, 1/640 second.

    Lovely details. The eyes are sharp. The ground covered with the dry leaves make a nice colourful carpet. Looks like a big male tiger. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice image. Keeping the paw clean is an absolute necessity for tigers as fresh and rotten pieces of meat accumulate within the complex structure of paw inviting bacteria and fungal infection.

    Nice capture of a Tiger in a pensive mood.Nice comments from Saktiji on why a Tiger licks its paws.I want to visit Bandhavgarh and see the Tigers there one day!

    Nicely captured and excellent details . The dry carpet of colourful dry leaves makes a nice background to the baleful ominous expression on the face of the tiger.Thanks for sharing .
