    Elephants live in a herd - basically a joint family. In the same age group, we find more than one in many occasions. The calves have witnessed how maternal aunts guard them no less jealously than the mother. The bond grows natural.

    They look so cute together . Good details on the skin textures. Was it a big herd? Its good you got the eye of the calf on the right in the clear (the grass stalk not blocking it). Lovely sighting and capture. Thanks for sharing.

    The elephant calfs still have their long hair. It is often a pleasure to watch these calves interact with one another and with the senior members of the herd. One can also seen Alloparenting ie. small calves suckling from their aunts. It increases the bonding as well. Thanks for sharing.
