    Default Yellow throated Marten

A Yellow throated Marten on silk cotton tree. They often feed on nectar of silk cotton flower in spring. Photographed in Manas NP, 2016. You may also read my latest article about Rhino of Manas in this link

Lovely pose photographed. It is in the open so can be sighted clearly. Nice eye contact. The red silk cotton flowers look lovely, making the image colourful. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely sighting. We don't often sight an yellow throated marten. It is good that you got it engaged in feeding. A nice behaviour captured. Were you on a jeep while shooting? If you were able to move a bit to the right to avoid the out of focus bamboo then it would have been great. I hope Manas is recovering well. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,

The colors in this picture look good. The marten seems lighter than it looks, by the looks of it in the branches. Thanks for sharing.
