    Default Gaur......Gavi!

This Gaur was standing on top of a hill and was little far away.Gavi is part of Periyar Tiger Reserve and you need to take a different route from the Thekkady route.

The rains have made Gabi forest look pristine and magnificent!

Nice to see it keeping a watch on the visitors. I liked the way the vegetation is covering it partially. How are the sightings in Gavi? Thanks for sharing.

How many gaurs did you sight? I would like to see a wide angle shot which will give a better idea about the location. Thanks for sharing.

Here is a wider view of the Gaur.....This time there was only one Gaur.....but a few meters down the road we could see a herd of around 15 Gaurs!

The Gaur has a commanding view from the small hillock and it is also hidden from due to the tall vegetation. You have framed it well between the trees in the foreground. If possible moving a bit to the right would have also given a clearer view. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.

The vegetation looks nice .The details of the Gaurs' face though have been lost against the sky . Great to see visuals of Gavi after the rains .Thanks for sharing .
