    Default Elephants in Kabini

    The grass becomes dry here during the winter months and here is a scene of a group of females feeding in peaceful amity ..This is a scene during the month of Dec from a few years back.Nikon 750+70-200 ,f/4.5 ISO640 ,1/2OOs FL/70mm .

    The light and shade is nice. The side lighting has accentuated the form well. If the elephant on extreme right would have had sun on its face then it would have been awesome. The lower angle looks nice. Majestic animals. One won't get tired watching them. Thanks for sharing.

    A very common seen at Kabini and Wayanad.They are allergic to two wheelers and make mock charges at them!If a baby elephant is present then they become very cautious.

    While going through the jungle, it is a nice feeling to observe/photograph elephants feeding peacefully. Here it is still better as they are in the open and quite close. A wider framing has helped to show the habitat. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
