    Nice to see all the females posing for a group photo with the calf . The one on the extreme right looks a bit peculiar. Lovely display of the habitat in the background. Thanks for sharing.

    Veery nice capture of a herd of elephants,posing for a photograph,as said by Mrudulji........the elephants are highly protective of their younr ones.

    Nice herd of elephants. The little adorable calf is SPG protected. The female elephant on extreme right is heavily gravid.

    Such a lovely family. The tiny elephant calf is being well protected by others. The other elephant is pregnant. They have a pregnancy of 22-24 months. And the kids feed from several elephants who can be either aunties or even much elder sisters. It is known as alloparenting.

    The wide angle shot showing the entire herd tells a story. One should always look for such opportunities to convey a story which often gets missed in long lens intimate shots.
