Painted Stork

Photographed this Painted Stork from the boat at Bhigwan. It was quite close for me, on top of a mud bank.

Canon 80D, Canon 100-400 mm IS USM lens, f5.6, ISO 400, 1/4000, 250 mm, hand held, full frame.

Too often we ignore these tall birds. The low angle is nice. The gradations in colour has come out well. The bird is clicked sideways so the depth of field covers the entire bird.

Colorful bird .Love the walking pose .The light seems to be a little harsh as the whites have lost details.Would have loved more space in the front .Thanks for sharing.
