ID: Oriental garden lizard
While looking out for some interesting subjects, early in the morning, was called up by my nephew to check the lizard that popped up on the compound wall. Probably in the quest to sun bask, this beauty had strategically selected a spot that was not so easy to access, but still it could enjoy the early morning sun’s rays, while, just my guess, keeping an eye for morning prey. Eventually it did spot me approaching, but due to the telephoto lens, it seemed to be comfortable enough to continue with its daytime practice.
