The Elephants were only partially visible in the tall grass of Dhikal Zone in Jim Corbett!....They were still hidden even after standing on the safari jeep!

Beautiful view of the Corbett landscape. Even elephants get hidden in the tall grass, typical Corbett habitat. Nice capture. Thanks for sharing.
In Corbett it is often frustrating to know from the sounds that elephants are grazing nearby in the tall elephant grass because one can't get a clear view to photograph them. However, that's how the situation is in India. In Africa, one can see herds of elephants in the plains and create some stunning shots. There are also forest elephants in Africa that are a bit more elusive.
From the watchtowers one can view the elephants grazing better. And once I had enjoyed a tiger stalking at a distance.
I would also have tried a wide shot showing more of the blue sky. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
