    Default Tiger in Grassland.......Jim Corbett!

This Tiger cub walked towards us at Dhikala Zone of Jim Corbett!....It was fascinating to see the Tiger at Jim Corbett.

This is my last pic from the series "Jim Corbett"......planning to visit another Tiger reerve later in the year.

Through your photographs we could see the amazing sightings you had . It is good to know Jim Corbett still is such a wonderful place to visit (in my list for a long time). Hope to go there this year. Thanks for sharing and look forward to the images from your next visit.

We can make out the gait of the tiger. When Project Tiger started in Corbett they used to tie bait for tiger sighting. With increased protection both the herbivore species as well as tiger numbers increased. If similar levels of protection can be given to all wildlife sanctuaries and all the forest department posts are filled up then the wildlife numbers can increase due to reduced poaching and less anthropogenic disturbances. Thanks for sharing.

    Cheers,
