Cameratrapping Indian stripe Hyena can be very challenging at a time. Setting up and maintaining camera traps in these terrains can be physically demanding. Striped hyenas live in arid, rocky, scrubby areas—not always easy to access.
Despite these challenges, the rewards of successfully camera trapping a striped hyena are immense. Their distinctive stripe patterns allow for individual identification, providing valuable insights into population dynamics, movement patterns, and habitat use.
