    Default stream and shrub

I had photographed this at Siruvani.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 28-135 IS lens. ISO 100, at 60mm, f14, 1/8 second, mirror lockup, full frame.

    Let me know your feedback.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

The flow of the water is nicely captured. The texture on the rocks are good. Nice composition. Thinking if zooming out more would have helped to get more of the surroundings.

Siruvani Dam & Waterfalls.. Have been there... Its just about 40 kms from Coimbatore town.. Quite a picture to see this place during monsoons.. ;-) There is a waterfall at the centre of the dense forest known as 'Kovai Kutralam'.. Awesome place.. Also to note that Siruvani water tastes quite sweet.. & they say that Siruvani lake is the second sweetest lake in the world..

    Mrudul,
I tried various compositions and finally arrived at this composition. I liked this better than all others. The light was low and the mirror lockup helped in getting a sharp image.

For details on mirror lock one can check this thread:

    Usha,
This is actually that Kovai kutralam. I am told that means little kovai.
