Wow! Lovely image Sabyasachi, the splash of the water is captured nicely and it looks so beautiful. At ISO 800 and under bad light conditions you have done really well, I am sure I would have messed it up If I were present

There is hint of tilt in the image is what I felt, probably others can share their views.

Overall I must say that you have been extremely lucky to have witnessed this natural history moment.

excellent sighting....dont know how to express the feeling we undergo in sighting like this through words...i expirenced it a month ago....it explains how cruel nature can be ...but predators also has a family to feed.....nature has its own rules to create balance...

Beautiful image... The whole series tells a story... of bravery and standing for each other... Almost like one of Aesop's Fables...

The horizon is a bit tilted.

    Hi Sabyasachi,

I agree with Bibhav that the whole series is like a story right out of Aesop's fable.
I am really enjoying each and every shot in this group. Not only am I learning about photography but also about wildlife and I feel extremely happy about it.

I also share these images with my husband and my daughter and they are also getting hooked to this :-)

Superb! Such images are nice for study of behavior of both, prey and predator.
