    Default Sarus Cranes

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM. ISO 400, f8, 1/800. Full frame image.

I wanted to catch the droplets of water falling from its mouth. Look forward to your comments and suggestions. The once numerous Sarus Cranes are now a rarity. I found only a single pair of Sarus cranes in Bharatpur. Look forward to your comments and suggestions.

The vertical composition and positioning of the crane's head is pleasing. Slightly more saturation could make the colours stand out?

    Aditya,
I am uploading one with more contrast and saturation. I am not too happy with the Sarus in background as it is not sufficiently covered even with the f8 aperture.

This one is better. Yeah, unfortunately the narrow aperture didn't manage to produce the desired DoF.
