    Default Tiger yawns in grassland

This is from Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve. One early morning, I found this tiger out in the open, enjoying the early morning sun.

Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 1.4xII, ISO 200, f8, 1/160, full frame image.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Lovely image. Had seen this one in your gallery. The dry grass in the BG forms a nice uniform wall. The morning light is nice... Thanks for sharing...

    Bibhav,
I have not converted this image earlier. The image in the gallery is from the same series but a different one. I still remember this scene. When I arrived there, I first saw the BBC team filming it. They pointed out the tiger. There were three tourist vehicles slightly ahead and watching it. The tiger was there for atleast half an hour. It was a serene moment. Wish to see more such moments, when the tiger is at peace.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Lovely moment captured. Liked the soft light. The pose and the yawn do show the tiger is not disturbed. The grass adds to the composition.
