The composition is nice. The layers in the rocks lead the eye into the frame. the DOF is nice. The shadow and light play adds to the image... Thanks for Sharing...

Nice image. Thinking if you crop a bit from the bottom, then the 'U' shape will be more prominent. The colours and details are lovely. Could you photograph the valley? Thanks for sharing.

    Mountain pass. :-)

    I like the colours.

Enjoying the sunset with alarm calls ringing from the hills across and an occassional trumpet of an elephant...I have nice memories of that place.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Wow.. I liked this pic.. nice composition.. This brought back memories of my childhood days.., school, i must say. ;-) We used to visit Kemmanagundi at least once in two years.. Visit to Coffee plantations, trekking on babu budanagiri hills & most important of all.. enjoying the nature & its colour compositions. This place is in Chickamagaluru district of Karnataka. Kemanna Gundi in kannada means Kempu mannina Gundi - Red mud pit. Tarikere used to be the nearest railway station..
