Nice waterfall. The smooth water flow looks great. The serene feel of the image would have enhanced further without human presence. Thanks for sharing.

I like the composition. The slow shutter speed has helped get a smooth water flow. Reducing the highlights at the top would help.

I agree with the previous comments. You can upload an image upto 800 pixel on the longest side. We will then be able to see the details better. Though it might appeal to a few, I hate the human presence. We have left enough of our imprints on the environment..

    Where is this place?

    Cheers,

i involved Homo sapien just to get the feel" how big is the falls"

This Falls is called hidalumane falls. This is on the way to Kodachadri (mountain range in western ghats). To reach this falls we need to trek around 6 kms from nettur. Nettur is around 400 kms from bangalore

This is a super travelogue, and it's even cooler that you did this alone! Solo travel is so inspiring to read about. The Kodachadri trek offers some pretty unique experiences, and you should definitely check them out if you go again. The Hidlumane Waterfall is pretty, and a great spot for photos. Of course, you didn't have your cam so maybe next time Nagara Fort is also close by, and is worth a stop to stretch your tired biker legs. Also, don't know if you know this, but there is some kayaking activities on the river nearby, and in the monsoon, this is great fun.
