Purple Moor Hen - Pallikarnai
A Purple moor hen. Was told it is a sight to behold in flight, but simply could not get one flying (did not want to force them into taking flight either)

It is never interesting if the bird is moving away from you. It would be better if there is less space at the back (ie. right) than in front. I would have liked some more sharpness as well.

I like the head turn in the Photograph. The white back portions is clearly visible. TFS.
