    Default Tiger (Male) @ Bandipur

Shot this male tiger yesterday (Saturday the 16th Jan'10) morning @ 8:30am, we tracked its pug marks first, later heard alarm calls by Langur and after 2 hours our persitance paid off and finally we were blessed to sight this big fellow @ Basavanna Katte. This time my MD & his family who travelled all the way from Pune accompanied me to Bandipur with a hope to see a tiger as he had not seen a tiger in the wild, I managed to fulfill his wishes

A nice image. I like it peering from behind the tree. A slight boost in contrast might look better. Thanks for sharing.
I'm sure your MD is going to be very happy with his trip.
    More leaves for photography maybe?

Lovely eye contact. Its good you got the face in clear. I think I have to come with you to Bandipur. Still to photograph a tiger there . Did it come out of the bushes?

Sighting a tiger is always an awesome experience. Sighting it in Bandipur is even better. And sighting a tiger along with your boss is just mindblowing. I am sure the celebrations will happen soon.

I like the eye contact. Look forward to the other images from this series.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi
