    Default Asian Openbill Stork

    I took this handheld photograph in Ranganathitu close to the evening time. I wish I had included more space at the bottom however I did somehow managed to take a full frame photo of the Stork.

    * Aperture: f/5.6
    * ISO Speed: 200

    Regards,
    Siddhartha

    Nice flying pose. Liked the spread wing. The details in the underparts look good. A bigger image would have been better to comment. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice Attempt. More space at the bottom would have enchanced the image. TFS

    Agree abt the compo. The image looks sharp, and the details look good. DO post a larger image, and please mention the equipment details and shutterspeed. TFS...

    I like the diagonal composition here. Since this is full frame, i would not point out the space at the bottom, but while shooting if you could have handled it, it would have been better. Due to the strong light, the details in the underwing, have been muted. You can try opening the shadows, but doing so at the same time, might give the image a washed out look. Overall, this is a nice image.

    Thumbs up

    Siddhartha, This is a good photo of bird in flight. I like the details in the wings and I could see the thin bone in the wing. TFS.
