    Default A backlit bamboo

    Canon EOS 1000d, f5.6, SS-1/5, ISO 400, White balance-auto,
    only brightness has been slightly increased..no other alterations made

    Nicely done. I would crop a bit from the bottom. Is that a star just above bamboo or is it a dead pixel?

    Nice composition. The colours in the sky are lovely. Including the tree above looks good. Cropping a bit from bottom would help. Look forward to more.

    I would have liked the branch at the top to be further up. The space above it doesn't add much to the image. I like the colours. Just the band of colours at the bottom with that lone tree at the left in a horizontal composition would have been great (without any tree on the right).

    Dead pixels won't show up after conversion to jpeg.

    thank u all..ya its a star..the scene was darker and stars were visible,a brighter star is what we see ther..
