    Default Family

Could photograph both the adult and juvenile Greater Spotted Eagle. I liked the pose, but couldn't avoid the shadows on the eye.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, f8, 1/250, ISO 200, hand held.

    comments and critiques welcome.

Lovely image Mrudul, I liked the pose. Both eagles looking at each other makes it more interesting, light seems a bit harsh...

I wish the sun was behind your back rather than at your right side. With side lighting it becomes tough to get details in the eyes.

    The pose is interesting.

    Hi Mrudul,

Thanks all for the comments. I was not clicking at first since the light was not right, but then I liked this pose, so took a few photographs. It is quite rare to get the spotted eagles in front of each other .

Anu, I took this last weekend when I had gone to Haserghatta.

I like the pose. Agree about the details in the eye. Would like a bit more space at the bottom.

    Thumbs up

Mrudul, you got a good eye. The head turn is really special along with bush in the middle and water background. I thought these are good pictures of raptors on ground.
