In any conflict between man and animal it is the animal that has to suffer.
The composition is nice. The perch looks good too. There is a loss in detail due to the crop. Wish you had a higher shutter speed. What ISO were you shooting at?
I like the composition. You need to upload an image with the longest side at 800. It seems you have uploaded a higher one and hence loss in details.
I found the following exif details: 1/250, f8, ISO 200 at 400mm.

Beautiful composition, agree with comments made
The image that I uploaded has size of 540 pixels by 750 pixels. I do not know what exactly you mean by "detail loss". Yes it was cropped a bit but I don't think it has affected sharpness significantly. And yes it was shot at 200 ISO.

I guess the file size of the image you uploaded was greater than 200kb, hence the site resized the image resulting in loss in image quality. I see the current file size at 110kb (guessing that is not the file size you uploaded with)
In my computer it is a file size of 172 kb. What computer do you use? In my computer it shows just fine. I use an iMac.

Nice eye contact and perch.
The server used for this site is windows. I think the present image size is only 110Kb, and as you have said you uploaded 175 kb file, the software resized the file, so there is loss of details.
