Shooting from the top will hardly give you a pleasing image. Try photographing from a lower angle.

really cute.... the really young ones are completely unafraid... and actually come to take tid-bits from your hands...just as long as they do not sense any sudden movements....
I have had tiny squirrels climb down from a tree and onto my shoulders, to take a fruit from my hand... obviously was unable to take a picture.... but I will never forget tht moment....
