I always love the red eyes of these birds. Where did you click this? Unfortunately, there are hardly any trees on the road side. So they mostly perch on the wires.

You have used ISO 400 at 500mm. Did you hand held it? There seems to be noise in the wings as it is the shadow side. It would have been better if you could have approached from the other side. They are interesting subjects. Look forward to more.

This was on the way to Vedanthangal, on the small road which turns away from the highway into the villages (past the Pepsi block).

This was hand held and there was no other angle since it was on this electric cable, which in turn was strung across a paddy field. I was on the main road, which was bordering the field.

I waited for almost 15 minutes to get a shot of it in flight, but it simply would not move. The kids in the car were getting impatient and had to call it off. Maybe another day . . . .
