    Default Hawk Eagle

I had posted another image of the same bird earlier. This time I used Zoom Browser to increase shapness(Maximum).

Good shot. The image looks a bit cluttered, but i'm not sure whether you could have avoided that. A slight head turn towards you would have further enhanced the eye contact. Any more pictures of this bird?

I agree about the eye contact. Some more space would have been good as well.

People often try to create tight closeups. After buying the long lenses, they realise that tight closeups don't show the environment well. Each has got it own usages. However, creating an environmental portrait is more difficult, as you have to keep an eye on various obstructing or distracting branches etc.

    Cheers,

There is a lot of Photoshop work that is obvious here, particularly in the lower left of the image.

The bird looks nice. A bit more eye contact would have been better. I agree with Apana regarding the Photoshopping.

It is good you got the bird in the clear. I can see some noise because of the sharpening. Do you photograph in RAW or jpeg? Thanks for sharing.

Mrudul I take pictures in the RAW mode and change them to JPEG using Zoombrowser. In this particular shot I used Zoombrowser to increase the sharpness to 100(that is maxmum). Then opened it in photoshop and made other changes.

Nice image Sankar, the eye contact and crest look good. The image looks a bit over sharpened and a bit more space all around would have been nice.

Remember Shri TNA Perumal describing this raptor as avian tiger and quite rightly.

You got him clean Sankar. Where was this shot ?
