    Thumbs up Antlion of Anamalai

Antlion adults can be easily distinguished from damselflies by their clubbed antennae. Antlion bite can be mildly painful.

    Photographed at Anamalai Tiger Reserve

    Camera: Panasonic
    Model: DMC-FZ28
    ISO: 400

Nice angle to the image. I feel the bright highlights just on front of the antlion is a bit distracting. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot. Never seen an adult antlion in real life . There seems to be some detail loss, did you upload too large an image?

Nice close-up. I liked the composition. I don't think there are any highlights. The web at the right corner adds to the image. Some more details would have strengthened the composition further. Thanks for sharing.
