Beehives at Karnala (Record)

Hives of Rock Bees Apis dorsata, photographed at Karnala, Maharashtra. Was reminded of this image when I saw Sankar's photograph of the beehive .

There are around 8 hives along the same rock outcrop, 5 of which can be seen here. Most of them are around 4 feet in length.
