Default Tigress in Ranthambore Zone 3

This image was created in Ranthambore Zone 3. She came down from the small hill and sat for just a minute looking at us and then crossed the road and went to the water hole.

Sabyaschi had earlier posted his image of this series.

    Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, ISO 400, f7.1, 1/100, hand held, full frame.

    comments and critiques welcome.

Nice eye contact. I like the rim lighting. Though this is against the light, you got the body well lighted. The depth of field is nice. It portrays the habitat well.

One can see the contrasting treatment between your image and mine. My image (the one with tiger looking this side) was with -1/3 EV, so the rim light was more pronounced on the dark body. I like this treatment as well.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

The eye contact us astounding !!
Sharp and crisp, referring to Sabyasachi's images of the same pose, this is a diff perspective and I like it!!

    Great work!

Lovely. Fantastic pose from the tigress . Lovely compo. The exposure looks perfect. I also like the uniformity in the environment, it makes the tigress stand out. Overall an excellent image, TFS!

Nice image. I like the composition. I feel increasing the blacks a bit more might make this even better. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image Mrudul, like the posture and the direct eye contact. The habitat too has been portrayed quite well. You may want to reduce the saturation a bit.
    Overall great work & tfs
