    Default Nilgiri Tahr......Eravikulam

    Only around 2000 Nilgiri Tahrs remain in the world and most of them live in Eravikulam NP near Munnar.One from the archives.....

    I dont know whether this is a record thread as I havn't seen a picture of a Nilgri Tahr on India Wilds......!

    Nice capture for a record shot.
    I have been dreaming of capturing these on frame , however luck has been eluding me all the while.

    The sharpness seems overdone and the white balance and saturation look out of place

    Nice image. I liked the eye contact. Agree with the above comments. Would have liked some more space on the right.

    Good to see a Nilgiri Tahr after a long time. I had posted a few last year. It seems the scanning has resulted in changing the colours.

    This species is the only goat antelope south of Himalaya.
